Help please- onsite interview--finaicial reports analysis

Sorry, no Chinese. The coming interview will be analysis employer's financial reports. But under current economic condition, their performance is horrible. Is there better way for me to say these, "the company's gross margin is 1%", " the company suffer from loss last fiscal" . If I say this way, I do not think they will hire me. So could you please offer me better ideas to say thoses.
