三十六计，走为上计，是指在我不如敌的情况下，为保存实力，主动撤退。
所谓上计，不是说，“走”在三十六计中是上计，而是说，在敌强我弱的情况下，我方有几种选择：
一、求和
二、投降
三、死拼
四、撤退
四种选择中，前三种是完全没有出路的，是彻底的失败。只有第四种，撤退，可以保存实力，以图卷土重来，这是最好的选择，因此，“走”为上。
