from 09/2006 to 05/2008 at xxx University, GPA 3.98" in your cv. This will show you just wanted to study new things. "MS canadate" shows that you wanted another Master degree, but couldn't get it.

If people asked why did you take those courses, tell them you always want to learn new things. And even they are enough to get another Master degree, you didn't get it because you just wanted to learn things. That's a positive spin.
