急！不得已！ 想要找把我雷掉的头做reference

是不是个good idea? 那家伙人好像还可以。

我想给他发个email,意思是我请他做我的reference.但他如果觉得他的comments on me不能帮我得到这份工作，我情愿他不要给我做reference. 我怎样才能把这番话说的婉转漂亮些？
