This is what happened. First off, I was laid-off. But boss told me there is this new position that fits all my skill sets and he expects me to apply for this new position. But it certainly would be open for everyone else in this group and I know one woman would certainly apply to it too.
What shocked me was that half of this group was let go. I personally thought it would be just myself. But it certainly impact on many people. the worst part is that those people had no clue what was coming, unlike me. so they were not prepared for this at all. I feel bad for them because this is a total shock.
Again thanks for everyone's kindness here.
Now that everything is settled, I feel more comfortable now. Also, recovered from a bad cold or flu? Just to have a good rest first then look for new job.
