The first day and week might be tough since you have to re-adjust to the changing schedule and in-coming phone-calls. You will become very emotional. But then you will calm down, think it over, and draft a plan for yourself.

Depending on your credential and industry, you might find a job within a month or stay home for a year. But as long as you have both a long term plan and a short term one, you will live a life with purpose and goals.
