Can anyone give me some suggestions on this?

I am doing a job which is not using what I learned and I don't like it anymore. Now I would like to change to the database field and would like to take some courses. My concern is:

what kind of courses should I take regarding of easy to find an entry level job and the long term career development, SQL Server, Oracle? And my background is manufacture engineering.
