what kind of IT jobs has furthure in US

I stay home for a while. I spent my last 8 years working with Oracle DBA and previous 8 years working with Biotechnology. I find it's much difficulty to get the DBA job again. Most jobs require you know other skills in addition to Oracle DBA, such as data modeling, developer, application part or SQL server, even MySQL etc. Going back to Bio-lab, the salary will be dropped to half. And you are still not very competitive in the market.But many Oracle DBA jobs have been outsourced to Indian or China. Please give your advice or opnion, which area of IT has more job opening and those jobs will stay in US and relatively stable.Do you think Electronic Medical Record will be a good futhure in US?
