a number of people. My boss added GM and another sr director into the list of providers. and this is one of the comment I got from GM.

I do think brown-nosing is what this means. I did challenge him on several occasions. The other comment from him was that I should be willing to take alternative approaches. "tend to wed herself to initial beliefs and conclusions", which I think suits him better.
