your manager and hear his thoughts about the project. in the invitation email, use the following sentence:
"I want to hear your thoughts about blah..blah...".

不要想他们是否要推卸责任到你头上,即便事实如此, 但处理这件事时, 要"being professional" no guessing, don't make assumption.
