真心请教怎样写联系信（低等的工作）

以前在国内是做办公室工作的，但手头很利索。来美后一直在家带孩子，现在有了工卡，想在老公工作学校的某实验室找一份工作，可怎么样去联系呢？！谁有联系信的样本给一个，本人不胜感激。另外，英语日常对话还可以，太专业的术语还是有些困难的。谢谢。
