humble 不是用来 be 的，忍不住说一句。

最近也不知这里为什么刮起了"be humble"的风，好家伙好多帖子和回帖里都有，不知道谁挑起了但是能看出追风的很多很多。

我说，humble 这个词是用来形容某一类人的，而不是人人需要模仿的行为准则！
有些人天性就是humble的性格，一举一动，一言一行都给人humble的感觉。但是如果你去刻意模仿，恰恰会适得其反。一类模仿者会给人做作的感觉，进而被人疏远；另一类，演技好事事时时注意表现出自然的谦逊，但是一辈子总有一两次打回原型，而一两次的露馅足以让人认识真正的你，这样的你谦逊就成了谦卑。

个人觉得美国人心中的字典里是没有humble这个词的，我从没在我周围的同事中体验到这种感觉，相反，他们的自我表现和背后议论牢骚的能力非常之强。让美国人humble恐怕比登月还难。

所以，humble是中华民族的“美德”。我之所以打引号，是因为我真的不确定这个是好事还是坏事。aggressive也许是美国人和日本人的“美德”，但是，“入乡随俗”这个词在这里很重要，你在美国刻意去装humble就会被归为另类，角落里蹲着吧。

看来忍不住说了不止一句，只是希望我们中国人在国外要多表现出“龙”的姿态，跟多的aggressive才能在这个世界稳稳的立足。
