I had on site interview last week, and HR told me she will speak to me
about the interview feedback this week. So far, I haven't heard anything yet
.
Yesterday, I talked to one of my previous colleagues plus good friend
about this company interview, and she told me she actually worked in this
company before as intern and she personally knew this hiring manager and
also had good work relationship with her, the time she was in the company,
the hiring manager was her team leader.
Now, it is kinda late to know this information because interview was done.
What should I do now?
1. do you guys think it would be appropriate if my friend calls this
hiring manager and start casual conversation and then mention about my name
and last week's interview?
2. Or do you guys think it would be better that when I follow up the
interview process with the hiring manager and mention about my friend's name
?
3. Or just do nothing and just wait for the final results?
This is kinda urgent and I hope get some suggestions from you guys before
interview result comes out! Thanks a lot
