He has tons of money because he is doing clinical studies. Half a year ago, when I was almost done with my current project and need to renew my contract, he tried to force me to accept another project which will require me to work from 6am-0 or 1 am, more than18hrs. Of course I can not work so many hours in a roll, but he will try to squeeze me as much as he could, at least 14 hrs in a roll. He threatened me using my status ( at that time I had not got GC). For my current project, I already worked for more than 12 hrs overnight (8pm-9am). Felt tired for so long hrs and worked overnight. I felt unhappy and only asked to renew my contract for 6 mon, planed to find another job at that time. But later I found out that I was pregnant. He knows that I don't plan stay in his lab for longer time, not mention I am pregnant., that is why he didn't renew my contract this June. Anyhow, am I qualied for umployment benefit? Thanks!
