When 玛利她爸 got layoff from Physics field, he was not sure where to go. Just by chance, he entered Database field.
Many years later, looking back and looking forward, this is a good direction to go if you do not hate computer.
First, you do not need to get another degree. Compare with others who only knew to get another degree, if you follow this way, you already be able to earn a pay check while others are still study hard to get that useless degree.
Second, this is a field has relatively high demand of jobs, relatively easy to enter and offer reliable skill sets which you can use to earn a prety decent lifestyle (compare with all others).
