818 Niu colleague

He disapeared for personal reason on Tuesday last week. The company tried to contact him several times without success. Today he called saying just back home. will come to work tomorrow. i know the company won't fire him, probable just not paying him for those days missing. What would your company do if same thing happens? my old working place fired a guy after he disapeared for 2 days.
