I wonder if you could bring this topic for tonight's teleconference: What are the topics to talk about during a casual meeting (dinner) before interview? For example, when you go to a company for an on-site interview, usually the hiring manager will meet you the night before the interview day (from my experience) and take you to dinner. Although it's a causal form of conversation during the dinner, it is actually the beginning of the interview. She/He will learn what kind of person you are from this casual conversation. Of course you can talk about family, weather but I think it is a critical opportunity to make a good personal impression. What are the good topics that you can bring up to show the best side of you? Hope friends can share their experiences, advice.
Thank you!
