I am not happy with the recent annual salary review and had discussed with my boss, who said that he will look into it, but no promise. This is our first meeting. We had our 2nd review a week later and he said that it is hard to change it now, reason... but he asked me to keep it for myself if the outcome is an increase at the end, then another week later he said that he is unable to change it until next year's review. I am so disappointed and felt that he has cheated me in our 2nd meeting. I know that he has the power to make the change should he wish, of course there is a certain procedure he has to follow.
My plan is to approach him again, but how and say what? show him my unhappiness?
Need advice please!!
