I feel you are too desperate at this moment. With your background, you should be able to land a very good job in finance/accounting area.

I don't think internal auditor poistion is a good choice for a working mother.Allow yourself some time to find sth that really fits you.

I have the similar background with you and I left my firm in February. Now I work very close to my house with easy hours.
