The option 2: He offered me as an employee (not partner) for a year, I will have the right of first refusal(per the lawyer, if he wants to sell it, he has to sell it to me first), but he also said he can disolve the contract with 60 days' notice. We talked about this 2 years ago before renewal of my second contract with my current employer. I refused it 2 years mainly because the salary was same as my previous salary, I have to drive 20 miles there, and I was not ready to be my own boss yet. This year, I am still not sure if I am ready.

Any more information you need? What do you think?
