Resign or Wait for lay-off

I am the newest in my group, the boss told me there's rumor about re-org, I think she's giving me the hint that I will be laid off soon. Should I resign or wait to be laid off? I only have less than 2 years experience, don't expect much in the severance package. If I resign now, at least save myself some "mian zi". Any input on this?
