Hi, I have been in the water for a long time and did not think of that my first post is about my unemployment:-(
Just know today that I will be out of work since end of April, since the client is leaving with the project. I am currently in my first year of H1B. I have therefore these questions and hope to have any of your advice:
(1) How long do I have after leaving the employer to find a new position to transfer my H1B without have to go back to China?
(2) What are the possible ways I can stay here, at least for a longer time. (seems that my company would not keep my status after April :-( )
(3) I was doing IT consulting ( SAS, VBA and SQL) for over 1 year and also have an Finance master degree, does anybody know of any company/position that I might have any oppotunity?
