How much should I ask for SAS programmer salary?

Just send resume to a company to apply for SAS programmer (not pharmcetical company) position today. This postion is about data preparation. They email back ask my salary requirement. I donot have any experience (fresh master, no internship). I am earger to find the first job. so I am afraid to scare them away if I ask high. The location is very very remote small city and state in middle of US.

Please help me How much can I ask? Thanks
