I think you need to work for 1000 hrs this year. Since the rules was made by B.

Check your 401K summary sent to you by letter or on internet, if the pension is vested, it should be marked as so. Because if you count the 2 years at A, you should have surpass the 5 year marker.

1000/40hr/wk = 25 weeks ~ half a year.

3 months for you to go. Time flies!
