收到hiring manager的email回复，如何进一步联系

我前天收到了一封hiring manager 的邮件，说对我的简历很感兴趣，他会进一步联系我如果需要更多的信息。我是否可以跟进这封邮件，打电话给他。我想问问是否可以获得一个面试的机会，这样会不会引起他的反感？请大家不吝赐教，谢谢！
