求助: 找工作REFERENCE的问题

我在找工作,在找前一工作的CFO做REFERENCE时碰到麻烦.

背景:小公司,我的直接上司就是CFO,再有一个分管我们的VP,就没有别的合适人选了.
前年找工作时,两人都欣然答应.
今年联系VP,仍很NICE;联系不上CFO,再去问他,被告知CFO跳槽了,还给了我新的EMAIL.
写EMAIL给CFO,等了大概两周没回,重新发了一遍,以防没有收到,至今又是两个星期,仍无回音.

现在很迷茫----在美仅有这么一个与专业有关的工作,所以REFERENCE至关重要.

问题一: 如果只写VP,不写CFO,用人单位会不会有顾虑? 比如,觉得我和CFO关系不好? (事实是,他和VP都挺满意我的工作)

问题二: 他是没看到EMAIL,还是不愿意回? 或者,认为无需回,”无声就是默许”?

问题三: 鉴于他两年前答应过,而我又有了他的新CONTACT,可不可以没有得到他的肯定答复就直接写上去?

问题四: 我通过其他途径(不是VP)找到他现在的电话,可不可以直接给他打电话?会不会很冒昧? 假设打了, 有用吗? 怎么说?

问题五: 有朋友说,不然就写上VP,再加上单位的HR; 这样可行吗?
