公司的一些重量级人物总是反复问我在公司呆了多少年了？

请问这是有要提拔我的意思吗？是好的意思还是坏的意思？在公司带了多少年有这么重要吗？我最近让他们演起我的工作签证，他们就又来问这个问题，难道年头少的就不给延了吗？念头真的这么重要吗？请有经验的指导一下。多谢。
