关于Embedded System职业, not worth you jump to it

愚兄已步入中年，当然会感到中年危机。在电讯行业领域混了十年有余，从JAVA的应有程序开发，到UNIX OS系统安全性的维护，都“沾花惹草”过，但偏偏没有涉及到电讯的核心领域。现在，刚被雷。不是技术不行，而是相对组里的新毕业的大学生，一是老朽了，而是工钱贵了点。我想这是北美搞技术老中，普遍面临的中年危机。

You are still too narrow.

下岗后，琢磨着如何避免这个问题。有朋友说Embedded System不错，关键是大学里学不到，比较偏，不会有大量的懂.NET和JAVA的和你竞争。所以，才有了这个想法。但自己对这行业不熟悉，还请各位指点迷津！

-- Try to make yourself armed with skills you can find job in any industry and you can accumulate your experience until you are old.
-- Forget Embaded System unless you are doing that and somebody is willing to give you a paycheck.
