俺觉得你没讲清楚这关系。以我猜, 你们的关系应该是：Your supervisor -> Group leader -> You。

I believe what happened was that you 不服 the group leader, so you had a fight with him/her。But the reality is that the group leader is the tech lead, even though he/she might not be your reporting boss. 你应该向 group leader 服软，别太牛。既然他是 lead / leader，他就在技术或某方面管着你。对你而言，所有管你的人，你都别不服。除非你有本事也当 lead，去管别人。一切存在都是合理的。千真万确。

我想，如果和你的 supervisor，你就不会有 big fight 了。原因还在你自己。我觉得，把 lead 约出来找他谈谈，承认自己上次态度不够好，他应该能接受，除非他是个王八蛋。

另，同时找工作也不是个坏选择，大家都这么建议，一定也有道理。
