湾区裁员

昨天新闻报道Intel、微软各裁员5000。微软总部在西雅图，弯曲山景城也有几千人，估计影响不大。Intel 主要砍掉菲律宾和马来西亚的工厂，弯曲的总部可能多少也会裁几百。

Telecommunication industry is dead. Nortel is gone and so are many others bleeding to a slow death. 这个肯定会影响到弯曲，更多会影响到东部地区，因为那些大公司（Lucent etc.)的总部在东部。Nortel 在Dallas,TX和NC的分部都比弯曲的大，对那边的影响一定大得多。

2000后，弯曲大裁员，几个高速公路上眼看着车越来越少。起码目前弯曲的高速还是一样拥挤，大裁员的结果还没有显示出来，也许几个月以后吧。
