once you secure another job, go to HR office, present them a letter, telling all truth between you and your boss, you do not have to fight with him present.

You can always try to qualify for another department for another boss.

Make sure you present the written doc to your HR before your boss did the same to you. A bad review for your boss is better than killing him ;-)
