Position for MySQL DBA

It is a junior position. It requires the candidate to have some database background, like B+-tree, indexing, locking, etc. It also requires basic knowledge on OS, like caching, paging, semaphore, race condition, etc.

The candidates don't need to have prior working experience. Linux and scripting, or relevant experience, are required, since it is a DBA position, not Data Analyst.

The candidate must be motivated, be eager to learn new things, have no problem in reading manuals.

It would be better if the candidate knows OO design and programming. It doesn't matter what OOP language the candidate knows. It is easy to learn a new one, except C++ :)
