I also read from Yahoo that Pfizer plans to reduce its global research staff of about 10,000 people by 5 percent to 8 percent this year. That's 500 to 800 scientists if my third-grade maths is correct. Based on the report, Pfizer employees who are being laid off have received notice today. Hope you or your friend are among the lucky ones.
