It depends on what areas you are interested in. Almost all industries need financial analysts. Some focus on accounting part, others are for investment... As a financial analyst, you should definately know accounting and finance. Some also need statistics and mathematics. In addition, some database skills and business softwares may be required. My recommendation is to look for the job descriptions of financial analyst from job search webs.
