If you made mistakes, I don't think anything wrong with your boss. He/She is not picky. It is his/her responsibilities. As an accounting professional, you have to be detail-oriented.

Like the recommendation above, communication is very important. If you like to stay in the company, you should talk with your boss more often. Knowing what he/she thinks is important. That letting him/her how your thought is also important.
