Hi, I was in the same situation before. My boss was a married woman but no kids. she worked as late as 8-9PM every day. I am a mom with 2 kids and she expected me to do the same. Now she has a kid herself and told me she did not expect it is that difficult to raise a kid and be more understanding. Now I can see bye to her at 5PM every day. Do not sacrifice your life style for your boss and consider how much you are paid, those managers are paid much more that we do plue bonus they get, they are supposed to work more.
