Tough, got a few very tiring days

Good opportunity, huge challenge -- things are worse than I expected. It's not about team building, not about culture building, it's about turn around from short-term crisis, and build a model for long term gain.

Things just have been wrong for a while, CIO fired, his buddy (director reporting to him) had to resign. The guy had both IT as tech background, had Hispanic as ethnic and cultural background, understandably;), the guy acted with no deep thinking and no strategic planning at all, but behaved like he really knows it, in that way he brought many guys of the company working very hard but just brainlessly. The board finally recognized that and fired him, but too late, the trouble is too deep.

I promised to make up a case study for this, I may or may not do it -- if I do it, it's going to be my last time here. I gradually lose my interest for there are too many basic things -- like basic attitude issues.
