A tricky question not related to work

The question has several parts:

1. Should the Iraq war be terminated? (elaboration: is it wrong? what impact it has on US economy and people's life here?)

2. If it should be terminated, how to do that with national dignity and grace? (elaboration: not to hurt the self-respect of common American people? not to hurt stability and security of oil supply? not to hurt strategic relationship with local alliances and partners there?)

3. If it should be terminated, how to send this message out clearly to the public, and make the majority of voters buy this point, so that authorize next president to actually take action. In the mean time, the message cannot be too clear, so that it loses flexibility, and gets lots of strong opposition which will actually block it from happening.

My personal opinion is: the war has to be terminated, but the dilemma is: one cannot say it too clearly, but in the mean time he has to convey this message in a conceivable way. I've seen some people try to handle this, in a very careful way, but do not dare to go further.

This is just a kind poll, nothing to do with any workplace issue, if the forum administrator thinks it's not relevant, feel free to delete it.
