A clarification...

In advocating turning a writing chore on its head and having some fun with it, I most surely did not mean that we could take serious, business writing assignments lightly.

What I meant was that, to live by the teachings implied in "practice makes perfect," we could use every opportunity accorded us to practice writing, and in doing so, our practice sessions would be a lot more productive and fruitful if we somehow were able to have some fun while at it.
