Don't worry, I have similar situation

I also had same situation like you. My previous manager was really an ass and nobody liked her. No matter how hard I worked, she did not give me good evaluation and wanted me to do PIP ( the company's standard). The I realized I almost had no hope, after one month, she sat with me and HR and let me go but the company paid me 3 months package and the big boss and others can give me good reference to find job.
Since I was H1B and had no time to find other job, I talked to my previous employer and was hired soon.
Don't worry, if you are not happy, you can't stay long, although I liked that big company and most others liked me, company only listens to your manager, you know.
Lost a job is not a big thing, just stand strong and find another one soon.
