little things make huge difference - interview 1,2,3

Today my friend told me the interview story:

One young Ph.D. Chinese lady did on-site interview and did not get the job. The reasons she may not know were:
1). Her flight to company was delayed and company person was waiting for her at the airport and could not find her. What she did was to inform her hu*****and first and asked her hu*****and to let the company person know the flight was not on schedule. Reasonable?
2). Next morning, the boss picking her up at hotel lobby could not find her. What she did was to go to the lobby without asking around who is from the company and went back to hotel room to wait. The boss waited for a while and asked the front desk to call the room. Once she went to the lobby, she asked the boss if she should check out.(she knew she would leave for the airport after interview). Then she spent a relative longer time to collect her belongings at the room. Really poor plannning?
3). During the interview, her cellular phone was ringing and amazingly she picked up the phone and started to talk.(turn the phone off, or stop the ring at least).

The aboves are really not related to the professional background.Is she too young to have some common sense?

No one wants to hire or work with someone who shows this kind of personalities, I guess.
