Just want to ask a question. My old boss had an autistic son. When my co-worker asked him "is your son like rainman?", he was so offended and reported to HR. I was thinking he was overacted or too much sensitive. He asked me " how would fell if people make fund of your kids?". I didn't really experienced this type of jokes myself. My kids are all healthy. His behavior at work are so strange. He stayed in office 12-13 hours but got nothing done. Everyone was wondering why he didn't go home if he was not really working in the office.
I can understand you. 4 years ago, when my docotor told me there was 1% chance that my baby could have down syndrome. Work suddently didn't mean nothing to me even I was a work holic all the time. I always told my hu*****and that I paid so attention at work because my life side is realitvely smooth and happy. Best wishes to you!
