Thanks for the advice. One thing I have to clarify is that I went through four direct bosses in the last 14 months. That is why I tried to work on my career issues with the big boss directly, who is relatively stable in his position.

Would you suggest I push the job transition harder and makes it happen as fast I can OR back off a little and give the big boss more time for transition? He did mention I am on the short list certain positions but promised nothing. He said the same three months ago before the re-org. I am runnning out of patience and start to lose trust on him.
