You buy your own benefit. Your 掌柜的 pay you if you take vacation.

Yes, call the Agent, say Merry Christmas! And Ask how the hiring going for that position. if he said he is still trying to find somebody, then:
"I may try to help you to take that position, if you agree to give me the number I want,.... Or, OK, let's make a win/win situation, what is the highest number you can offer to me?"
