My biggest accomplishment is that im still here

Unlike all those native americans, for most of us(1st generation of immigrants), Many of us came here w/ 20 bucks in our pocket, especially for those who came here in the 80s. Our english was understandable, but definitely not great compare to those americans. Besides,we had to overcome cutural barrier, try to study hard, so we can prove that we are really the "model minority". Despite of all the adversities that we had to face, unlike those who went back to China or decided to quit, many of us never thought about giving up, we kept our energy up and fought back against odds.
I mean thinking back, even though many of us had to give up a lot of things to accomplish our "American Dream", but after working hard for 10 or 20 yrs, when we look at the house that we are living in, the car that we drive, we realize that we have accomplished something.
