Absolutely Agree! There are many jobs around Database

BESIDES DBA job, there are many many other jobs around the database, for example:
Need people to do load data in to database; (database engineer, developer, report engineer)
Need people generate report from database; (reporting Engineer, Analyst, database engineer...
All these kind of jobs are relatively easy to enter, and nice life style...
And most importantly, the expericne has been proved that it is Doable to train a people without IT experience previously, just for several month, (as long as she/he want to learn) can find a good job (NOT DBA0 but around the database... I have many real examples....
Unfortuanately, not many Chinese knew this or even they know they don't wan to share....
