30 isn't old at all

I've seen people who were 40+ entering law school.

If you want to be a lawyer so that you can fulfill a childhood dream, then sure, why not?

I'd advise you to do it ONLY if you can get into a decent law school (top 30). If not, then don't.... Lawyers treat pedigree very seriously.
