Based on my experience, I worked much harder than staying in office. When I was in office, I have two hours lunch time(meet friend, shopping), nobody cares.
I came to the office 8:30, leave at 4:15. Two hours lunch, you count ithow much I left for work. Plus I have a couple of chat with someone, another one hour.
In home, I have work hour from 7:30-4:00, half hour schedule lunch, and carry the phone all the time, even in the restroom.
Stay in your office, never back to home, you have much better social life.
