从老板,印度女同事的话题说开去: 说到Ivana和Jennifer的争风吃醋

不知道看了“真人秀”没有，在里面有个聪明的中国人：Ivana Ma (马)；还有个美人儿：Jennifer M. 在第十一集中，Ivana发明了一种罗盘(fit wheel, where a customer could turn the dials fo the wheel based of his or her desired fit to select the proper type of jeans. Everyone liked the idea, but Jen had trouble getting her head around it. She said, I don't know why don't get how this works. Ivana said, Jen is slow to understand what's going on...if you want an out-of-box thinker, do not hire Jen. Other team members also said Jennifer M was useless because she couldn't get the concepts at all.

可以说，哪些人中间，Jen是最笨的，而马(Ivana)是最聪明的，当在向老板汇报时候，老板们非常欣赏罗盘的点子，并问是谁?如何想出来的? 这时候，Jen一步抢先站出，jumped in with the answer, taking all the credits. 但是Ivana也不是省油的灯，急不可待的跳出来邀功，结果被主考老板们很坏的印象，反而是毫无贡献的Jen成了主考老板们最欣赏的。最后Ivana被 fired掉，而Jen还进入了决赛。

所以我过去的一个老板曾经教训我，工作做的再漂亮也没用。重要是展示自己的水平的能力。Ivana马工作做的出色，邀功也很当仁不让，但是问题出在她邀功在第一时间慢了半拍，而后又太急，反而让老板不喜欢。Jen虽然很漂亮，Ivana马也不错，而且还敢于牺牲色相，但是做的过了一点。

所以说，工作中，最重要的是邀功的本领，不邀功不行，太急也不行。具体工作能力倒在其次。
