Should I send a thank you email to staff agent?

In the noon I met the agent, filled out some forms and talked about some job oppotunities. After that, I just went back to work. Until now, I just realized maybe I should send a thank you email to them. Since I never worked with staff agent before, can somebody give me a suggestion whether or not?
